Being a movie lover that I was, having a place where I can comfortably watch new movies is my dream. I am actually planning to convert an old study room into a home theater since no one is using the study room for a long time.. I have already talked to my friend who is an architect and she said that I would need quite plenty of money for the screen, for home theater chairs and other stuffs that would be necessary for a home theater. My sister along with her husband and two lovely kids have decided to move out from their old house and find a better opportunity oversea.. The economy is not that good anymore due to the financial crisis. They realized that their expenses do not meet their monthly salary because of the growing family they have. They have decided to leave their old things including their contemporary furniture, which was given to them as a wedding gift, to be able to start anew.

They think this is a better idea since the shifting from cargo ships would cost them a lot. It has been a few years since I have had part of my house made into my office. Before, the only reason that I did that was so that I could save money that I could have spent on leasing on a commercial space. I made the office space look formal and plain - something that I thought would suit how a lawyer’s office should look like.

A few years later, I realized that even though I got the saving-from-renting part right, I was so wrong with the kind of look that I designed for my office. I found it boring, and it looked too dull. There was even a time when one of my clients commented that the place made her sleepy because of the dullness that it showed. My vacuum is not working properly right now.  I hired a technician and he told me that we need to buy some vacuum spares to replace the old one. I do not have time to go to store so I just browse the net and look for the parts that he needed. After some time searching I found dyson spares and miele spares interesting. So I ordered some parts right away, and when I already have it the technician went back to fix it.

The technician even gave me some advice on how to take care of my vacuum. I have learned that nothing will stop a vacuum cleaner faster than a clogged up brush. Lint, pet hair, yard, thread and other items can get wrapped up in the brush of a vacuum cleaner, rendering it useless until we do something about the backup. And the first thing that we need to do is to turn off the vacuum itself and turn it over. And then, find the items that are causing it to stop. If we can’t pull them out by hand, go to our sewing kit and find our seam ripper, it can tear away the items that causing the backup and making it easy for the brush to continue cleaning. He also told me that I can keep my machine from needing repair by getting it serviced. I have learned that most warranties include a service plan where I can get the belts or lights changed once or even twice a year if needed.

My friends and I decided to help the school raise some funds for the charity event that they are going to have. They are helping the Sunday school students for more than a decade now and it is my first time to be a part of it. I am just new in the neigborhood and thought that it maybe a best thing to help others in a way of charity events and some fund raising.
